Day One: Israeli Typology

Israel is located at the most eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea. Israel's climate is characterized as a subtropical region, between the temperate zone and the tropical zone. The northern and coastal regions of Israel show Mediterranean climate characterized by hot and dry summers and cool rainy winters. Whereas the southern and eastern areas of Israel are characterized by an arid climate.

Currently I am in Ramat Hasharon where my uncle and his family live. I spent my first day on the street eagerly searching for differences/similarities in typologies of life; eating, culture, transportation et cetera. But looking for discrepancies does not work because the typologies of an Israeli city are very similar to any contemporary city; thus it all blends together. Identifying Israeli typologies is going to take precise observation and time.

Transportation: Here is a round-a-bout at 3pm. Not very busy...

Interior Demolition: Still not as dangerous as China... but getting there. These bins are actually tied to the tree.
